Photographer Highlight: Rob Stephenson

This week we highlight select photos from the archive of Rob Stephenson, a Brooklyn based photographer focusing on striking landscape photography featuring often overlooked buildings. Rob’s current project, The Neighborhoods, is a comprehensive survey of every neighborhood in New York City, documented through photography, field recordings, and writing.

He has received artist fellowships from the Design Trust for Public Space, The Camera Club of New York, and the New York Foundation for the Arts and his work has been commissioned by the Center for Architecture and the Museum of the City of New York.  He has published two monographs: Myths of the Near Future (Ain’t-Bad, 2019) and From Roof to Table (Design Trust, 2012).
